“Sometimes life does give us a second chance. I dropped out of school, but then I completed my GED. I went on to graduate from college, and now have a successful career. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it.” -Ralph Paulding Former Hospital Administrator |

Helping Today’s Youth Become Tomorrow’s Leaders. |

|
In 2001 the CHAMPS Mentoring Program was expanded to offer services to youth who have dropped out of school. Youth involved in the CHAMPS Out-of-School Program can get help with enrolling in a GED program. The focus of this group is to give support and guidance by helping youth believe in themselves, set goals, get job skills, and instruction on getting along with others. Computer classes are available to assist youth with getting/keeping a job. A contracted Mental Health Counselor is available for professional assistance. Food and refreshments are also provided. |
